High resolution images are sometimes licensed only for non-commercial re-use, as set out at https://maps.nls.uk/copyright.html. If you wish to use a high resolution image commercially, please email maps@nls.uk.

Images and printouts reflect the original maps as viewable on this website, including any defects to these original maps. The images also reflect different types of camera/scanner, resolution, colour settings and light used over time.

By ordering any electronically retrievable products (JPEG images) you agree to waive your right to cancel your order, as laid out in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

For orders delivered outwith the UK, please note that the National Library of Scotland is not responsible for import duties or sales taxes within the country of destination. Depending on the local rules the customer may need to pay these to receive the items ordered.
